Danielle Vinson-Tucker As the director of youth and family services for TASC, Danielle Vinson-Tucker is responsible for programs that help stop intergenerational cycles of trauma and justice system involvement. 

Among the TASC programs under her leadership are juvenile justice services in several Illinois locations, Smart Start services for new and expectant parents in Peoria County, and the Family Recovery and Reunification Program, which helps families in Cook, Madison, and St. Clair counties who are involved in the child welfare system due to parental substance use disorders.

With more than 10 years of experience in the fields of behavioral health and child welfare, Danielle brings extensive knowledge of therapeutic/crisis interventions and case management best practices. Most recently she served as regional manager for UIC’s Division of Specialized Care for Children where she successfully led a highly ranked Illinois Healthcare and Family Services coordinated care unit serving the Medically Fragile/Technology Dependent Waiver population for Medicaid eligible children and adults.

Danielle earned her BA in Psychology from Chicago State University and her MSW from UIC’s Jane Addams School of Social Work.
