Rucha Shastri, MA, LPC, CADC, CCTP, NCC
With dedication to leadership, empowerment, and integration of culturally inclusive behavioral health treatment, Rucha Shastri serves as administrator of TASC’s treatment services for people with substance use disorders. In this role, she cultivates and oversees the implementation of evidence-based practices for TASC's outpatient treatment services, including specialized services for people with justice system involvement.
Leading a team of TASC treatment counselors in locations across Illinois, Rucha provides clinical training, supervision, advocacy, and expertise in the realm of behavioral health and substance use treatment. Her clinical training focuses on trauma, addiction, and multicultural counseling, and includes direct experience in residential and outpatient treatment. Rucha is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC), certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP), and national certified counselor (NCC). She earned her BA in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her MA in counseling psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
