TASC provides medical case management to assure pediatric care and guide healthy development for children in the care or custody of the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and their substitute caregivers.
TASC maintains a network of providers to meet the healthcare needs of DCFS wards and educate caregivers about immunization guidelines and well-child exams.
TASC Services include:
- Arranging pediatric check-ups
- Coordinating medical care in alignment with standards established by the American Academy of Pediatrics
- Maintaining medical files until the children are returned home, adopted, or reach age 21
- Serving as a resource to DCFS case workers, foster parents and substitute caregivers
