Juvenile Court Assessment Program (JCAP)

JCAP conducts in-depth clinical assessments on adult parents who have an open case in Cook County Child Protection Courts and are seeking family reunification.

TASC provides the following support:

  • Conducts comprehensive substance use assessment to adults involved with Child Protection Services
  • Determines clients’ appropriate level of care needed
  • Provides referrals for recovery support services
  • Acts as a liaison between clients, the courts, the Department of Children and Family Services, and treatment providers to ensure treatment success and, consequently, family reunification
