Teen Pregnancy Prevention & Personal Responsibility Program (TPP-PREP)

TASC is one of several organizations that provide TPP-PREP services to youth in the Chicago area. 

A program created and developed by the Illinois Department of Human Services and the Bureau of Positive Youth Development, TPP-PREP is based off of the Making Proud Choices Curriculum, an evidence-based safer-sex approach to Teen Pregnancy and HIV/STI Prevention. The curriculum provides adolescents with the knowledge, confidence and skills necessary to reduce problem-inducing behaviors. 

TASC delivers four 1-hour sessions of “Problem-Solving Therapy,” which focuses on problem orientation, defining and formulating a problem, generating alternative solutions, decision-making and implementing solutions.
